Strat-o-matic Baseball

Sup fellas?

Check this out:

The Sporting News is running a Strat-O-Matic (read: fantasy baseball for supernerds) season with actual baseball personalities. For instance, Schilling is managing the Sox and Doug Glanville is managing the Phils.

I've always been sort of fascinated by Strat-O-Matic, and I'm kicking around the idea of starting a league once fantasy football is over. Basically, you control everything -- lineup, pitching, trades, drafts, etc., and then each night the teams play their simulated games.

Anyone interested? It's like $25 a piece on Sporting News, but I'll see what other options are out there.

Comments:
I like things that distract me from work, and basbeall so it sounds good to me, plus fantasy football has not treated me well so I need something to look forward to

I bet Mark Fleming would do it. Oh wait, he never even paid me for last season. Speaking of which, I'll get you your winnings the next time I see you, Strulson.
