Two Thousand Chris

Since some people (a.k.a. Strulson) never check out my blurty, I've included my latest entry on here as well.

Your calenders are lying to you. The year is officially two thousand Chris.

As with the onset of any new year, I’ve made a few resolutions.

Resolution #1 – To write for two hours a day.

I want to try to be more creative, even if it is as simple as a "Who I'd like to Do" list...Angelina Jolie, Hilary from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, your sister, Condoleeza Rice, Gadget from Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers...

Resolution #2 – To take more risks.

This pretty much applies to all aspects of my life, but specifically to not being a pussy when it comes to meeting chicks and professional ventures. Stuff with big payoffs.

Resolution #3 – To clean out my AOL instant messenger.

I’ve allowed my buddy list to balloon to 149 people. 149! I used to be so diligent about who I let on and took off, but lately I’ve been sloppy. People have officially 5 days to offer me a reason to keep them on, or they are gone. This means you, DukeNukem98.

Resolution #4 – To come up with some better resolutions.

Seriously, this is all I’ve got?

Resolution #5 – To move

As lovely a town as Clayton, New Jersey is, I think I need a change of local. With being committed for another year to Rowan, my options are limited. Anyone need a roommate?

So look out world! It’s 200Chris! By the way, I can’t wait for 200Kevin or 200Nate.

Even Gooder News, Everyone!

And from a good source, too:

Futurama" may live to see the year 3000 after all.
Talks have begun at 20th Century Fox TV to revive the animated skein, which takes place in the next millennium, much in the same way "Family Guy" found new life after cancellation...

One Kick, Two Kick, Three Kick....Finally, it's GOOD!

I'm making a quick post to share how excited I am about last night's Orange Bowl game. There was so much anticipation for this game in my family because my Dad went to Penn State, and my mom went to Florida State. So this was the second time I remember seeing them play each other (last time was in 1990). I remember as a 9 year old (yes, I'm that old) watching it with so much enthusiasm while Florida State won. My dad, accepting defeat gracefully, went out and bought TONS of FSU merchandise and decorated our family room with maroon & gold.

But now as a PSU fan, I can't even begin to explain the sheer excitement I had with that game last night. I stayed up sitting 2 feet from the TV with silent cheers (my roommate was sleeping) and dances (for the guys - if it helps you get through this story - I was wearing a cheerleading uniform). The game was so awesome! (I'm not going to go into any technical football stuff because I don't want to sound like an idiot). But if this is how you guys get watching the NFL or playing Fantasy Football - sign me up. Although I'm sure I see things a little different than you because I wish JoePa was my surrogate grandfather & I'm in love with Michael Robinson.

Excuse me while I go explode.

P.S. If you find any great Orange Bowl merch online let me know where - I want to get some collectibles for the parents.

Other nerdy blog:

I'll post some New Years pics tonight when I get home from work -- until then, here is a link to my friend Jeff's blog -- he lives in Japan and has some excellent pictures of signs and products using broken english.

Breaking the ice

Well it seems that everyones new years resolution was to write less on the blog and concentrate on what really matters, getting a perm at 50% off face value. Ok so maybe thats not what everyone is doing but either way I am bored now and Tim is leaving so I am left in Yardley with not much to do for the next couple days. I also wanted to thank everyone who came up to my place for New Years, I had a good time and I hope everyone else did as well. With that said I would appreciate if anyone who took pics from there if they could put them online somwhere or something cause well lets face it I was fairly drunk and may not fully remember all that went on. (also I am narcisistic and like to look at myself). Well now people are iming me so I am distracted and I forgot where I was really going with this, ooh well. I wish everyone a safe and merry Martin Luther King day!
