Linthands is officially on the scene

Problem has now been officially solved. You can all look forward to reading mindless posts from the person who has spent the most time in 255 without ever living there.

In other news I need to write Wennberg a letter for him to become a professor at the college. Anyone care to post important info I should take into consideration?

Comments:
Good to see you're back in it -- couldn't have picked a worse time to get knocked out -- i'm still without a computer and probably will be for another week at least.

I got the same letter about Wennberg -- I should really put that together this week. I'll most likely write a story about him, and then repeat that story five more times before my signature.

Laurie I loved it. The funny thing was I was mentally writing the letter on the way to work which is much easier than writing an actual letter, and I was forced to admit that ol Wennberg's influence was a huge part of my life. I probably wouldn't have been at Etown, but he was the Com guy I met when visiting and was very nice and personalbe. (little did I know the story telling was a personality trait and not an icebreaker), plus he always got me the easy profs for my schedule, and when the ol lung collapsed he visited me in the hospital and left non loser type messages on my parent's answering machine.

I know I give you a hard time about the answering machine story Chris, but I do really appreciate you helping me to the health center. I don't know if I could have made it the whole way on my own. It's that experience that reminds me of the big heart under that gruff fuzzy exterior.

Yeah I don't think it's tenure, his letter says he's up for professorship, whatever that means. Any insight Jake, you king of all things college related?

I wish I had a better idea, but without taking another look at the letter, I'm lost.

Maybe he's lobbying for a school-funded soda machine in his office? My best guess is that he is being promoted from assistant professor to full professor -- believe it or not he is still just assistant. Most likely because I don't think he has his doctorate (or just acquired it, maybe). Anyway, he needs a raise. Digital photos don't pay for themselves :)

I never wished I was a Comm student more than I do right now.

Not because of all this "When-burg" talk, but because anthro courses suck.
